Just watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 last Sunday with my mom. And why, was I breathless??

Got Myself A New Name: Joei!!!

I know I'm crazy, and I know I love my name soooo much. But when my friend baptised me with Joei, I instantly fell in love.... with ME!!!

J-O-E-I is cute, kinda boyish and yet soooo feminine.. Well, whatever, I'm still the same J-O-A-N-I-E with a new identity: Joei!!

35 Days To Go!!!!

Weheheheh, the countdown continues as my 18th birthday comes nearer and nearer every single day... I'm getting excited too, as it comes closer everyday..

Countdown: 44 Days to Go!!

I'm so excited. 44 more days to go, and guess what: it's my 18th Birthday!!! Don't know why I'm so freaking excited getting older, and to think there will be no party for me, but I guess it's all about getting to the stage where I am considered an adult and my voice as an individual has more chance of being heard.

Anyways, party or no party, gifts or no gifts, all I really want is to be greeted on my very special day. And to think it's a Wednesday and in between Midterm Exams, all I could thin of is: what the heck?. I mean, come on, in between major examinations? I'm doomed.

Well, whatever. I will just be glad that I'm gonna be turning 18 soon.

BOOK REVIEW: The Lovely Bones

THE LOVELY BONES by: Alice Sebold


The Lovely Bones is a very lovely story. This book made me face, once again, the harsh realities of our mortality. I have known and had accepted a long time ago that we all are gonna die and there will be nothing left of us in this world but our memories, but I've always thought of dying in a natural way. In this book, the protagonist died anything but naturally. She was raped and was brutally murdered. Even so, it hasn't stop me from being drawn and absorbed into this book. This book, in a way, is "tragically beautiful." It's compelling and deeply moving. Only two other books made me both sad, happy and has undoubtedly brought my world upside down: Sophie's World and She's Come Undone. These three books are terrifyingly lovely.

The Damnest Day!

I'm tired, this is like the longest day. It's already 7PM and here I am still doing whatever. Far away from home... I don't know but I'm so tired. Hope first year would soon be over. Final exams, projects, summer practicum.. Will this ever end?!?

And since I'm so darn tired, I gotta ay GOODBYE!
